Allegedly the best known region of Spain…or maybe the most affected by clichés, Andalusia is a land full of laughter and dance and fiesta, but also a land of hardworking men and women, of sharp contrasts , of luminous towns by the sea, and hidden dark villages on the mountains.
While you sail the waters of the bay of Cadiz, enjoying the company and wisdom of a local fisherman, ride a handsome Andalusian horse along one of the many equestrian trails, or enjoy the finest sherry in an 18th century winery, bear in mind that this unique landscape has been cradle of some of the finest Spanish poetry, that Lorca and Alberti among others have sung of its joy and its tragedy, of a world as green as its olives, as white as its whitewashed villages facing the sea, and sometimes also red- as its wine, as its beautiful sunsets, as the name of one of its marvels the “Alhambra”, as the blood of its bulls and sometimes of its men.
